Fox News Host Chris Wallace Claims Bush “Never” Linked Saddam and al-Qaeda

In a stunning display of historical revisionism, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace argued this morning that President Bush never tried to link al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein:

[T]hat specific quote there where you say he couldn’t distinguish between al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, he wasn’t saying that they were linked at all. He was saying one was as bad as the other, and when he said in that same answer something about that Saddam Hussein would like to use a terrorist network, he wasn’t saying that they would like to use al Qaeda. This would all be interesting news if it came from a news organization and it wasn't littered with personal opinion. The only story linked here with a credible source is the one about New Orleans and it is from Yahoo.

I know you are new to JU but you should know that most of us understand the difference between a news piece and an opinion piece.

The only thing I found interesting about those opinions were that they were all ever so slightly slanted (sarcasm noted) towards the dems.

I would also suggest that if you want to share an article, please give us some of your opinions so that we have something more to comment on than the lack of a good source.
